Variovorax paradoxus is a gram-negative, aerobic, ubiquitous bacterium from the genus of Variovorax in the family of Comamonadaceae.[3][4][5] Variovorax paradoxus has an important role in biodegradative processes in nature and can promote plant growth.[5]
