Vanthali is a city and a municipality in Junagadh district in the Indian state of Gujarat.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census,[1] Vanthali had a population of 15,861. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Vanthali has an average literacy rate of 70%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 61%. In Vanthali, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.

History

The king of Vanthali Wala Ram did not have a male issue, and hence he adopted his nephew, a prince of the Sama clan, by the name of Ra chuda. Ra Chuda upon being proclaimed the ruler of Wamansthali (present day vanthali), took "Chudasama" And The "Yadav is Belong TO Lord Shree Krishna) as his new name. The Chudasama line ruled over the regions in and around Wamansthali as a capital for over 600 years. Chudasama ruled in junagadh from the 9th century up to the 15th century; Chudasama Rajput was longest ruler of junagadh. after that only Few Yadav are here This is India`s lowest Yadav Town,and the other type of story the yadava`s change their place and shifted to Near Jambusar taluka and some area of south gujarat .the last few Yadav Rajput who belong to Lord krishna stil stay in the The Village of Sigam near Jambusar,
