Vander Sacramento Vieira, or simply Vander (born March 2, 1988 in Rio de Janeiro), is a Brazilian attacking midfielder who currently plays for Cyprus side AEK Larnaca.

Career

Early career

The young attacking midfielder started in Madureira, and in 1998, aged 10, was taken to Flamengo's youth team, where he began to stand out. Fast, with both legs as his head, Vander characteristics including good passing and shooting, in addition to the torn speed. In 2008 came to be negotiated with the football in Portugal, however, the transfer did not materialize because of the player desire to continue in Estádio da Gávea.

Flamengo and America

Botev Plovdiv

On 13 July 2012 Vander signed for Botev Plovdiv. He took part in 23 games and scored 6 goals during his first season in A Grupa. His second season was less successful. He participated in 26 games primary as a right winger or secondary striker participated and scored 3 goals.[1]

Although Vander was among the favorite players of the fans he never participated in any games for Botev Plovdiv in UEFA Europa League and did not become a key player because he was ofter injured or tired. He came on as a substitute in the final of 2013–14 Bulgarian Cup but at the end of the game he was sent off after a rough foul.[2] Vander remained an unused substitute during the match for the Bulgarian Supercup 2014.[3][4]

He was released by the club on 31 August 2014 after playing in only 2 games during season 2014-15.[5]
