Valentin (French, German, Romanian, also Russian and other Slavic) or Valentín (Spanish) is a masculine given name. It comes from the Latin name Valentinus as in Saint Valentine and Saint Valentine's Day. Valentín is also a Spanish surname, again a form of Valentinus.
