Valencia de Don Juan (Spanish pronunciation: [baˈlenθja de don xwan]; Coyanza in Leonese language) is a municipality located in the province of León, Castile and León, Spain. In 2013 the municipality had a population of 5,199 (INE).
It's well known by its medieval castle.
Originally named Valencia de Campos, it was renamed after its 1st Lord and Duke, Infante John of Portugal.

Coyanza City Council promotes Leonese language courses.
