Valdur is a death metal band formed by drummer Sxuperion and guitarist Blasphemy in 2003 in Mammoth Lakes, California, a small mountain town at 8,000 ft. in elevation located just north of Mt. Whitney. Their first full length release was in 2007.
The next year the band released two split albums: Massemord / The Frost / Valdur and Lightning Swords of Death / Valdur. One of their songs was featured in the video game Undead Knights.[1] They then released more splits, singles and a full length. Their latest release, The Hammer Pit e.p., shows the band heading in a more death metal approach than previous releases. Live shows and touring have been common for Valdur, including two West coast tours and two East coast tours.
