Vairag is a developed village in Barshi Taluka of Solapur district in Maharashtra, India. The village is located centrally between Solapur District and Tehsil Barshi.

Its population is approximately 25,000 as per 2001 census.

Vairag is full of ancient temples. It is very famous for its Aadat Bazar. During the Nizam regime it was a great marketplace. The first Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru also visited the village.

The village hosts a Santanath Maharaj carnival in August, on the day of Narali-Pournima. Vairag is the main village which is having 56 small villages inside its legal boundary.
