Vaidhya
Vaidya or Vaidraj is a term used in India to refer to a person who practises ayurveda, an ancient code that some believe to have the medicinal benefits.[1] Senior practitioners or teachers were called Vaidhraj as a mark of respect. Some royal families in India had a personal Vaidhya in attendance and these people were referred to as Raj Vaidhya.[2][3]
