VTV1 is a state-owned television channel from Vietnam, owned by government-run VTV Network.
Launched in 7 September 1970, the station was formerly 24/7 general news and entertainment channel.[1]
Since 15 June 2011 the station become 24 hour news, current affairs and public affairs channel, the first of its kind in Vietnam.
