V381 Cephei (HR 8164) is a pulsating variable star in the northern constellation of Cepheus. It is a red supergiant of class M1Ibpe+ and probably has a mass of about 9 or 10 solar masses. It also has an apparent magnitude of 5.66 and is about 3,600 light years away.
