History
The Várda SE was found in 1911, as Kisvárdai Sport Egyesület (KSE). Aladár Kondor (station master), Izidor Józsa (municipal official), József Kiss (judge), Gyula Tényi (elementary school teacher) and István Sulyok (land registration officier) were the founders of the club. They were the first to collect the young athletes into one community. The officialls of the village supported them with donating them the old pitch next to the market place. The financial support came from the merchants of the village, who helped a lot in the eary stages of the club.
In 1953, their present-day ground, the Várkerti sporttelep was built.
