Uttangi is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Hadagalli taluk of Bellary district in Karnataka.

As of 2001 India census, Uttangi had a population of 5401 with 2746 males and 2655 females.[1]

maruthi festival by pulling the decorated cart occurs in the month of jan/feb every year on saturday. people from surrounding village and relatives of local people come and celebrate the festival very grandly.
