Usomyrma is an extinct genus of ants of the subfamily Dolichoderinae. The genus contains a single species Usomyrma mirabilis, and it is perhaps among the most recent genera to be described, being a new genus in 2014. The new genera is due to the differences of the ants based on two male specimens that were once presumed to be apart of the genus Leptomyrmex.[1]
