Urban Search and Rescue Washington Task Force 1

Urban Search and Rescue Washington Task Force or WA-TF1 is a FEMA Urban Search and Rescue Task Force based in Puget Sound region, Washington and is sponsored by the municipalities in the region.[1]

Washington Task Force 1 was deployed to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.[2]
