Uppinangady is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Puttur taluk of Dakshina Kannada district in Karnataka.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Uppinangady had a population of 7172 with 3633 males and 3539 females.[1]

Higher Education: Government First Grade College Uppinangady affiliated to Mangalore University owned by Government of Karnataka. This college started on 22-07-1982. College aims at providing higher education to the rural poor innocent student residing in Puttur taluk of Dakshina Kannada district.
