Icon[1] is an upcoming biopic about Lance Armstrong directed by Stephen Frears, starring Ben Foster as Armstrong[2] and Chris O'Dowd as journalist David Walsh.[3] It began filming in October 2013.[4] Lee Pace joined the cast in November 2013.[5] Dustin Hoffman joined the cast in December 2013.[6][7] The film is based on Walsh's book Seven Deadly Sins.[8]
