The University of Thessaly is a university in Thessaly, Greece, founded in 1984. The university is based in Volos, but operates campuses in Larissa, Trikala, Karditsa and Lamia. The university comprises five schools—Humanities and Social sciences, Engineering, Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences and Sciences. Each department has its own associated student organization.

The University of Thessaly is divided into 16 departments[1] offering undergraduate and post-graduate degrees programmes.

Academic Evaluation

An external evaluation of all academic departments in Greek universities will be conducted by the Hellenic Quality Assurance and Accreditation Agency (HQAA) in the following years.[20]
