Science High School is home to a pioneering spirit that has made a tangible mark in the community: The first socially relevant programs conducted in a secondary school, the Immersion Camps, Survival Camps and Outreach, were started in the Science High.[1] The angel-soul relationship was one of its special relationships with the freshmen and seniors, was also the first of its kind in the Philippines and maybe, the world.
The University of Baguio Science High School placed first in the list of Top Ten performing schools in the Cordillera and Ilocos regions based on consistently high scores in the National Secondary Achievement Test (NSAT) results. Beyond academic excellence, the school is also home to outstanding athletes and artists school won awards from various regional and national competitions. But evenso, most alumni, students and teachers, too, claim that the school was not as it used to be.
