University Academy Liverpool (formerly Shorefields School) is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status.[1] It is located in the Dingle area of Liverpool, England.
Formerly a foundation school administered by Liverpool City Council, Shorefields School converted to academy status on 1 June 2012 and was renamed University Academy Liverpool. The school is now sponsored by the University of Chester Academies Trust[2] however it continues to coordinate with Liverpool City Council for admissions.
University Academy Liverpool offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels, NVQs, City and Guilds qualifications and further BTECs.[3]
