The 2016 United States House of Representatives elections in Colorado will be held on November 8, 2016, to elect the seven U.S. Representatives from the state of Colorado, one from each of the state's seven congressional districts. The elections will coincide with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, as well as other elections to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate and various state and local elections.
District 6
The 6th district is located in Central Colorado and surrounds the city of Denver from the east, including the city of Aurora. The incumbent is Republican Mike Coffman, who has represented the district since 2009. He was re-elected with 52% of the vote in 2012 and the district has a PVI of D+1.
Andrew Romanoff, the former Speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives and the 2014 Democratic nominee, may run again.[1] Former State Representative Edward Casso has established an exploratory committee in preparation for a potential challenge, but has hinted that he may defer to Romanoff if he runs again.[2]
