The United Arab Emirates national women's cricket team is the team that represents the country of the United Arab Emirates in international women's cricket matches. They made their international debut in the ACC Women's Tournament in Malaysia in July 2007, captained by twelve-year-old Natasha Cherriath. In the first round they faced Bangladesh, China and Singapore, and performed poorly, losing all of their games. On the first day of the tournament they suffered their most dramatic loss, scoring only 9 all out in 38 minutes, to which Bangladesh replied with 10/0 in eight balls; this is the lowest score in any form of international cricket.[1] Their highest total was against the slightly more experienced Singapore, against whom they scored 65/5 in 30 overs. Singapore reached 66/4 with 8 balls to spare.[2][3]
