Unguturu is a village and mandal in West Godavari district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.[1]

Unguturu is also an assembly constituency in West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, India.
As of 2009, it is represented in the Andhra Pradesh Legislature by Minister Shri Vatti Vasanth Kumar.

Unguturu is famous for its rice cultivation.

Industries
Besides agriculture, Unguturu is also developing as commercial hub. It is situated on National Highway No 16, around 100 km away from Vijayawada towards Vishakapatnam. Industry is a major part of the local economy, as are ice and cold storage, which provide packing ice for the fish and prawn exports to Eastern states of India. Rice mills, paper factories and poultry farms are all doing well.

Transport
Unguturu is well connected to most places in Andhra Pradesh by the state road transport corporation APSRTC. NH16, part of the golden quadrilateral (i.e., Kolkata to Chennai), passes through Unguturu. Frequent buses travel between Tadepalligudem and Eluru (West Godavari District's headquarters). Unguturu is also accessible by passenger trains to Kakinada, Tirupati, Vishakapatnam, and Vijayawada.
