Ungoed Jacob

William Ungoed Jacob MA(Oxon) (called Ungoed)[1] was an eminent Anglican Priest and author[2] in the 20th century.

He was born on 6 October 1910,[3] educated at Llandovery College and Jesus College, Oxford and ordained in 1934. After curacies in Aberystwyth and Lampeter he held incumbencies at Blaenau Ffestiniog[4] and Hubberston after which he was Archdeacon of Carmarthen [5] and then Dean of Brecon Cathedral.[6]

He died on 18 December 1990.
