Unfinished Girl is a 2007 Chinese drama film directed and written by Cheng Er. It marks Cheng's directorial debut.
The film stars Gao Yuanyuan as a lonely and terminally ill young woman who is convinced, through very circumstantial evidence, that her brother-in-law (Xu Zheng) was the murderer of her parents two decades ago.
Reception
Derek Elley of Variety calls it a "highly controlled psychodrama assembled in a brain-teasing way" and an "impressive feature debut".[1]
