Umrani
The 'Umrani' (Urdu: عمرانى) are a Baloch tribe, originating in the Pakistani provinces of Balochistan and Sindh. The Umrani tribe is mostly settled in Nasirabad District and Jafarabad District, the Southeastern districts of Balochistan, but some of them are also settled in Kalat District, Khuzdar District and Awaran District, Bhakkar, the Western Districts of Balochistan and in Dera Ghazi Khan of Punjab Province. They are descendants of Mir Umar son of Mir Ali, who is assumed by some genealogists to be the son of Mir Jalal Khan. The current Sardar of the Umrani tribe is Fateh Ali Khan Umrani.[1] He has two sons: Mir Baba Ghulam Rasool Umrani, and Mir Faraz Ali khan Umrani. The main headquarters for the Umrani tribe is Babakot.
