Umeå Central Station (Swedish: Umeå centralstation or Umeå C) is a railway station in Umeå, Sweden.

Redevelopment of the area began in July 2010.[1] The station will be closed from 7 August 2010 to 1 June 2011 and in the meantime the passenger traffic are moved to the new Umeå East Station.[2] It is expected to be completed in autumn 2012.[2]

The building

The station was designed by architect Folke Zettervall and built 1895-96.[3] In 2001, it was declared a listed buildning.[3]
