Ukrainian rock songs are commonly sung in either Ukrainian or Russian. Some performers pronounce Russian with a Ukrainian accent, as can be heard in some Vopli Vidopliassova songs. Elements include pronouncing all instances of the o as /o/ (despite being unstressed) and ye as /e/. The ge is also pronounced as /h/ or /x/.
