USS Chippewa was a ship of the line for which construction began at the Navy Yard, Sacketts Harbor, New York, after the signing of a contract on 15 December 1814, but the ship was never launched. Uncompleted, the ship was sold on 1 November 1833.

The ship was named for the Battle of Chippawa, fought during the War of 1812.
