UMTV (production)
UMTV is a British radio and television production company set up by Chris Evans in 2002.
The Directors are Chris Evans, Executive Producer and Writer; Clare Barton, Joint Managing Director/Head of Production; Chris Gillett, Joint Managing Director/Head of Operations and Helen Wright, Financial Director.
In 2007 UMTV Chris Evans left UMTV.
The company's back catalogue of shows include Boys and Girls (Channel 4), The Terry and Gaby Show (Channel 5), Johnny Vegas: 18 Stone of Idiot (Channel 4/E4), OFI Sunday (ITV1), Live With Christian O'Connell and Live With Chris Moyles (Channel 5) and School of Hard Knocks (Channel 4) which won a BAFTA back in 2005.
Ad-funded projects have included The National Lottery Daily Play and Glory Ball for Challenge
UMTV has produced a series of shows including the 2007 Red Bull X-Fighters World Series 2007 for ITV4, ITV Mobiles/ITV2 The Hot Desk, Red Bull Flugtag London 2008 for ITV1/ITV4 and the Red Bull X-Fighters World Series 2008 for Dave.
In 2014 UMTV.TV produced over 20 hours of original broadcast TV in the UK.
In 2015 UMTV.TV will be producing its 8th series of Red Bull X-Fighters on Dave, its 2nd series of Red Bull Cliff Diving, an 8th series of The Hot Desk and a 2nd Series of The Red Bull Soapbox
