UKHost4u Ltd is a provider of hosting services based in Kirkcaldy, Fife, Scotland.[1] They also provide domain registration as well as cloud services [2] and dedicated servers.[3]
The company was founded and launched by Paul Hughes[4] in the year 2000, offering web hosting services for businesses in the United Kingdom[5]
In the year 2004 the company purchased “Low Cost Space” increasing its reach and expanding its services. 4 years later the company became a direct network carrier and moved to a larger data centre in the city of Maidenhead in Berkshire, England. The Low Cost Space brand was merged to form a single brand named "UKHost4U"
In 2011 the company opened a new data centre in Scotland.
The company is an official partner of cPanel, an industry leading control panel application for servers and hosting services.[6]
