Current professionals with appearances

• Joe Cannon (1993) transferred to Santa Clara University Broncos, then went on to play professionally. Currently with Vancouver Whitecaps FC of the MLS.

• Rob Friend (2001–2002) was drafted by Chicago Fire in the 4th Round (35th Overall) of the 2003 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB, but signed with Moss FK of the Norwegian 1. divisjon. Currently in Germany with Hertha BSC of the 2. Fußball-Bundesliga as well as the Canadian National Team.

• Alan Keely (2002) left UCSB after the 2002 season to play for Kildare County F.C. of the League of Ireland First Division. Currently in Ireland with Malahide United F.C. of the Leinster Senior League.

• David McGill (2002–2003) was drafted by Los Angeles Galaxy in the 4th Round (33rd Overall) of the 2004 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB, but signed with Dublin City F.C. of the League of Ireland Premier Division. Currently in Ireland with Shelbourne F.C. of the League of Ireland First Division.

• Dan Kennedy (2001–2004) was drafted by C.D. Chivas USA in the 4th Round (38th Overall) of the 2005 MLS Supplemental Draft out of UCSB. Currently with C.D. Chivas USA of the MLS.

• Tony Lochhead (2001–2004) was drafted by New England Revolution in the 3rd Round (33rd Overall) of the 2005 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently in Australia with Wellington Phoenix FC of the A-League as well as the New Zealand National Team.

• Ivan Becerra (2004–2005) was drafted by Columbus Crew in the 3rd Round (27th Overall) of the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft out of UCSB. Currently with Wilmington Hammerheads of the USL Pro.

• Kyle Reynish (2002–2006) was drafted by Real Salt Lake in the 4th Round (43rd Overall) of the 2007 MLS Supplemental Draft out of UCSB. Currently with Real Salt Lake of the MLS.

• Tyler Rosenlund (2004–2006) signed with Åtvidabergs FF of the Swedish Superettan as a free agent. Currently with Rochester Rhinos of the USSF Division 2 Professional League.

• Eric Avila (2005–2007) was drafted by FC Dallas in the 2nd Round (19th Overall) of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently with FC Dallas of the MLS.

• Alfonso Motagalvan (2005–2008) signed with Rochester Rhinos of the USSF Division 2 Professional League as a free agent. Currently with Rochester Rhinos of the USL Pro.

• Chris Pontius (2005–2008) was drafted by D.C. United in the 1st Round (7th Overall) of the 2009 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently with D.C. United of the MLS. Pontius was voted Most Valuable Player at the 2012 MLS All-Star Game.

• Michael Tetteh (2008–2010) was drafted by Seattle Sounders FC in the 2nd Round (20th Overall) of the 2011 MLS SuperDraft out of UCSB. Currently with Seattle Sounders FC of the MLS.
