Tyrome Tripoli
Tyrome Tripoli (Born 1967 in Los Angeles, California)[1] is an internationally exhibited American sculptor and artist living and working in Bushwick, Brooklyn, New York City.[2] He received his Bachelors of the arts degree from the University of California, San Diego in 1990.[3]
His work has been the subject of numerous solo exhibitions including at the Lesley Heller Gallery and M55 art.[4] From October 2001 until January 2002 he was the artist in residence at the San Francisco city dump and created works from detritus found therein.[5][6]
In 2003 he directed a group exhibition at the Museum of Romanian literature in Bucharest.[7]
