Typhoon Morakot (disambiguation)

The name Morakot has been used for two tropical cyclones in the western north Pacific Ocean. The name was contributed by Thailand and means "emerald".

• 2003's Tropical Storm Morakot (T0309, 10W, Juaning) - struck Taiwan and China.
• 2009's Typhoon Morakot (T0908, 09W, Kiko) - struck Taiwan and China.

The name Morakot was retired after the 2009 season, and will be replaced by Atsani which might be used in the 2015 season.
