Typhoon Bopha (disambiguation)

The name Bopha has been used to name three tropical cyclones in the western north Pacific. The name was submitted by Cambodia and is a flower and girl’s name.

• 2000's Tropical Storm Bopha (T0015, 24W, Ningning) - An erratically moving system that eventually affected the Philippines.
• 2006's Severe Tropical Storm Bopha (T0609, 10W, Inday) - Caused minor impact on Taiwan.
• 2012's Typhoon Bopha (T1224, 26W, Pablo) - A very powerful late-season tropical cyclone which formed unusually close to the equator.

The name Bopha has been retired by the WMO last February 2013 due to its destruction in the Philippines. The name was replaced by Ampil which might yet to use between 2018-2019.
