Two Wells is a town approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) north of the Adelaide city centre in South Australia. The first settlers in the area used two aboriginal wells in the area as a freshwater source.[2] The town was officially named on 21 June 1990. At the 2006 census, Two Wells had a population of 717.[1] Two Wells is in the District Council of Mallala local government area, the South Australian House of Assembly electoral district of Taylor and the Australian House of Representatives Division of Wakefield.
