Two-form

This article is about a differential form of degree two. For two-forms in linear algebra, see bilinear form.

In differential geometry, a two-form refers to a differential form of degree two. In other words, a two-form is an order (or "rank") 2 skew-symmetric covariant tensor field.

For a given vector space, the space of two-forms is spanned by the wedge product of basis one-forms. See differential form.

The dual of a two-form is a two-vector.
