Turnmills was a London nightclub on the corner of Turnmill Street and Clerkenwell Road in the London Borough of Islington. It closed on the morning of 24 March 2008.
The club was the first to obtain a 24-hour dance licence in the UK spearheading the move to all night clubbing in the 1990s. It was the home of Trade, the first after hours club in Britain and was owned by John Newman, the father of DJ Tall Paul.

- City Loud (3rd Saturday of each month) - Resident CJ Mackintosh played host to Frankie Knuckles, Joey Negro, Sandy Rivera and more.
- Release Yourself (various parties throughout 2002 until 2007) - Roger Sanchez hosted his epic 10-hour journey through Deep, Tribal and Tech-House music.

- FF (1989–1996): Notorious night with original DJs: Blue Peter and Mrs Wood.
- Warriors (1996–1997) Hard House Techno Club run by Buffalo. DJs: Dr Mu, Wayne G, Karrim and RR Fierce.
- Melt (1997 - 1999) Techno, Nu-Nrg Club with Blu Peter, Mrs Wood, Sal, Jon The Dentist, EJ Doubell, Graham D, as residents and all star guest DJs such as Billy Nasty, Dave Clarke, Paul van Dyk, Tasha Killer Pussies, Sven Vath to name just a few.

Monday Nights
- The Well (1998): Modest but very loyal following with DJ's (BRUCE) Anderson, Dr Mu and Smiffy. Progressive trance.
The Gallery
The club also hosted 'The Gallery' on Friday nights, which attracted the biggest names in progressive house, trance and techno, such as Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Ferry Corsten and Judge Jules. Residents included DJ Tall Paul, Sister Bliss and Hernan Cattaneo.
The video for Camisra's Let Me Show You was filmed on a Gallery Night in 1997.[1]
Since Turnmill's closure, The Gallery has made a successful move to Ministry of Sound, in Elephant & Castle.
Closure as a nightclub venue
On 24 January 2008, Turnmills formally announced its closure as a clubbing venue on 23 March 2008. This is due to the expiry of the lease on the building.[2][3] The building was eventually demolished to make way for a new office building despite objections [4]
