Turning Point (charity)

Turning Point is a health and social care organization that helps and supports those affected by drug and alcohol misuse, mental health problems and those with learning disabilities. Turning Point developed out of a pioneering project in South East London and was founded by Barry Richards in 1964. It is now one of the UK's leading social care organisations.[1] The Chief Executive is Lord Victor Adebowale.

Turning Point is a social enterprise and registered charity[2] based in the United Kingdom that runs projects in more than 240 locations across England and Wales, making contact in the last year with 130,000 people. In addition to providing direct services, Turning Point also campaigns nationally on behalf of those with social care needs.
