Turkmen Agricultural University Named after S.A. Niyazov (Turkmen: S.A.Nyýazow adyndaky Türkmen oba hojalyk Uniwersitety) is a largest higher education institution Turkmenistan, only provides study in the field of agriculture. It is named after Saparmurat Niyazov, a Turkmenistan first president.
History
In 1930, in Ashgabat was created the Agricultural Institute.
Until 1998, named after Mikhail Kalinin. In 1998, was awarded university status.
In 2012, was opened the training center CLAAS.[1]
Faculty
The university consists of 16 departments, including the Department of Ruhnama and the department of computer technology near the rector of the university.
