Tuqtu Punta (Quechua tuqtu broody hen, Ancash Quechua punta first, before, in front of,[2][3] Spanish punta tip, point, hispanicized spelling Tuctopunta) is a 5,343 m (17,530 ft) high mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Huaraz Province, Olleros District. Tuqtu Punta lies northwest of Tuqtu and southwest of Urwashrahu and Arway.[1][4]
