Tulsi Tanti is the chairman and managing director of Suzlon Group, a INR 7,750 Crore market cap (as on 20 June 2014) wind power based company.
Career
Tanti set up a textile company in Gujarat, commissioning two wind turbines to supply electricity for his textile unit. Tanti (with his three brothers) established Suzlon Energy limited in 1995, now the fifth largest wind turbine manufacturer in the world. The Suzlon Group global corporation with over 10,000 employees, providing wind power solutions across 33 countries on six continents.
