Tuesdays with Morrie is a 1999 television film adaptation of Mitch Albom's book of the same title.[1] It features Jack Lemmon in a role for which he won an Emmy award.[2]
Plot
Mitch became caught up with his career as a sport commentator and journalist. He ignored his girlfriend and did not make time to do things in life that are of the most value to a human being. Now he has learned that Morrie, one of Mitch's professors, is dying of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's disease" or ALS. Reconnecting with Morrie is going to teach to Mitch a lot of his old friend and about himself.
