True Value Solar is an Australian renewable energy company headquartered in Melbourne. The core business of the company is the sale and installation of rooftop solar power systems, operating in all major states in Australia (absent from the Northern Territory and Australian Capital Territory). Founded in 2009[1] the company had earnings in 2011 of $43.3 million.[2] This result was seen as astounding given the carnage in the Australian PV market caused by cuts to the RET subsidy in 2011 STC price volatility.[3]

Purchase By M+W Group
In March 2011 German engineering firm M+W Group announced that it had purchased a majority stake in National Solar Group, the parent company of True Value Solar at the time.[7]
