The Southend-on-Sea trolleybus system once served the town of Southend-on-Sea, in Essex, England. Opened on 16 October 1925,[1][2] it gradually replaced Southend-on-Sea Corporation Tramways.

By the standards of the various now-defunct trolleybus systems in the United Kingdom, the Southend system was a moderately sized one, with a total of 4 routes, and a maximum fleet of 34 trolleybuses.[2] It was closed relatively early, on 28 October 1954. [1][2]

None of the former Southend trolleybuses is recorded as having been preserved.[3]
