The Triumph Legend 741cc is a British motorcycle developed by Les Williams, the former Triumph racing manager. The 'Legend' models were specials, each made after the demise of Triumph at Meriden from parts to specific customer requirements and based on the T160V Triumph Trident three-cylinder engine. Also included were the five-speed gearbox, electric start and Spanish-made alloy wheels. Braking was a Lockheed hydraulic system with twin discs at the front and single rear.

Many were carefully tuned for maximum performance and between 1975 and 1992 production is estimated to have been between 60 and 70 units.

The Triumph Legend name was later resurrected by the Hinckley Triumph factory for a cruiser version of their three cylinder 900 cc.[1]
