Trio World School was established in 2007 in Sahakara Nagar, Bangalore, India. It is an international day and residential School / Boarding School offering IGCSE , AS, A levels and ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) till grade 5. It also has its own preschool chain called TOTS which is claimed to be one of the Most Spacious Preschool in Bangalore.[1] It is run by TRIO Vidyakkendra Private Ltd which is a subsidiary company of MCN group.[2] This group has recently announced to invest around 100 crores in education by opening two more International school in South India.[3]

This school is known for its social & charitable works, which students and teachers collects fund from community as part of community enrichment program. Students have collected approx 1,25,000 for critical surgery of an Abandoned baby girl through book fair[4] in 2012. The students of this school has raised fund for victims of 2011 Tohoku earthquake,[5] 2010 Haiti earthquake.[6] and for Jammu & Kashmir flood victims [7]

Students has participated in World Environment Day with the motto "Save species Save Life" on 5 June 2014 at Cubbon Park.[8] The students with help of Fair Trade India has made India's largest T-shirt and world's largest sustainable T-shirt made out of fair trade and organic cotton was unveiled at the campus. Approximately 380 kg of cotton seed was used to create a total of 5,140 km length of cotton yarn (well over the 3,643 km distance from Srinagar to Kanyakumari) which weighed about 94 kg as fabric.[9][10]

  3. Arjun Bharat of grade 4 has won world school Chess Trophy under 9 category in Singapore [21][22] and Canadian Open Chess Championship in Toronto in 2008.[23]

Community Service

Community service is a part of ECA where students help the community in different ways. students has developed Eco friendly dustbins that can easily segregate plastics and papers. Students has distributed it to the Sahakar Nagar locality.[24]

Students has collected fund for a Government School in Kodigehalli to buy books, shoes and Uniforms for underprivileged children and has also adopted the school.[25]
