Trinity Presbyterian Church

Trinity Presbyterian Church (PCA), founded in 1976, is located in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Trinity Presbyterian Church is a community that seeks to share in God's renewal of all things—relationship with God, ourselves, others, and the world—through the gospel of Jesus Christ. Trinity's core convictions, which flow out of the historic Christian, reformed, and evangelical traditions, include the following: proclaiming the gospel, worshiping God, transforming people, healing relationships, serving neighbors, renewing culture, and strengthening churches.

The first worship service was held August 1, 1976, and the church entered the PCA in 1977. Greg Thompson is Trinity's third senior pastor, following founding senior pastor Joseph (Skip) Ryan, and John Q. Hall Jr. In 1997, Trinity planted a sister church, Grace Community Church in Charlottesville. In 2013, worship services began to be held for a second church plant, Hope Presbyterian in Crozet, VA.
