Trigonostigma is a genus of cyprinid fish found in Southeast Asia. This Species of fish is a schooling type and require at least 5-6 fish of the same species of fish, the more the better. They are very easy to take care of and thrive well in heavily planted aquarium. As a schooling fish they need at least a 10 gallon - 20 gallon tank.
Care
They are highly adaptable to different water chemistry but the recommended parameters are 6.8 -7.0 slightly acidic water.
