Trevor Kirkland

Trevor Kirkland was born in 1958 and educated at Mallusk Primary School, Ballyclare Secondary School, and Newtownabbey Technical College. He graduated from the University of Ulster in 1980. He was a member of the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP); he left when the power sharing executive began. He served as a member of Newtownabbey Borough Council and later sat for South Antrim in the Northern Ireland Forum.[1]

He is married with four children.

He was received as a Minister of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing) following the division of the Templepatrick Reformed Church.
