Trevor Doerksen is a Canadian entrepreneur, producer and director. Trevor produced and directed snowboard film Pipe Dreams[1] and science TV series, SciQ. He is also the founder of entertainment software company MoboVivo.[2] Trevor Doerksen has written numerous articles about the internet and video technology. He is also the author of a chapter in Handbook on Information Technologies for Education and Training.[3]

Early life

Doerksen went to University of Calgary where he completed an M.Sc. at the University of Calgary on Content Repurposing Theory in 2002.[4][5]

Career

In addition to founding MoboVivo and serving as its CEO, Trevor Doerksen has written numerous articles about the internet and video technology. He is also the author of a chapter in Handbook on Information Technologies for Education and Training.[6]

In April 2010, Trevor was awarded the People's Choice Award for Entrepreneur of the Year by Digital Alberta.[7]

In July 2010, Trevor was named one of Alberta's 50 most influential people.[8]

In December 2012, Trevor was named one of the twenty most influential thinkers in the world in social TV and second screen. [9]
